What would you pay? 67 K20 4x4
I have been looking for a 4x4 frame for a while now and came across one in a farmer field, actually its a whole truck.
Its a 67 K20 4x4, complete, bed is a total waste, cab is completely trashed, junk seats and stearing box and coupling extremely rusted. Front fenders, grill, hood may have some value to someone. Comes with a 283, non running. Now the good stuff, frame is in great shape, I believe the axels are 4.56, the front is "original" and had a quarter sized lock out on it ( I have never seen anything like this). A 4 speed tranny. Missing clutch and bell housing. The guy will deliver it to my house for $350. What do you think? Any info on the front axel? |

What are your plans for the frame? Are you looking for something to lift? The 67 and 68s have some differences from the newer trucks. The front axle has closed knuckles(69 also). The rear springs are different from 69 and up. The steering box is a different type. To name a few. But for $350 sounds like a good deal.

yes, I plan to lift the truck. Only 4 inches, maybe some 35's. I would really like to get into discs in the front. I am not sure if I should do a body swap with my current truck, 71 GMC 2wd, because I am looking at a few donor bodies. Then I would sell my current truck to finance the project.
