Help! Truck getting no power at all!
Just recently picked up a 67 swb, in-line 6, 3 on the tree
Has been running great, but all of the sudden I went out today to take her out for a trip to the park with my son and it tried to start and then flickered like a fuse blew and since then hasn’t had any power at all. I check the fuses under the dash and ended up replacing most of them. Still nothing. I checked the battery and it was fine. I’m not good with electrical and am lost. The lights won’t even turn on. Anything helps fellas! |

Start at the battery. Remove and clean the cables even if they look fine. Also make sure the battery didn't just die on you.

Check the fusible link
It is like a master fuse for the battery Should be close to the battery on the positive cable

I'd check the fusible links in the front corners under your hood, too. You will see a small rubber connector (pair) that house the teeny short fuse. That is the design to protect your primary electrical system. They get crusty over time. If it's corroded too bad or fuses are hard to find (3A...4A?) you can splice in a length of fusible link wire or a link like what is shown above

How did you test the battery? Did you load test it?
