Magic eraser
OK, nothing to make the wife disappear...lol. I washed both door panels in soap and water and one was cleaned with a mr clean magic eraser. Did a pretty good job.

You can get a cheaper version, called a Melamine Sponge on eBay. They are mildly abrasive. If you have a boat with vinyl interior they will make the vinyl look like new!
