I'm guessing the judge's were from the corvette and porsche clubs? Did you have the correct amount of overspray and messed up panel gaps? Were all the factory markings in place? All kidding aside , Beautiful Truck!

Re: On the Concourse

The truck looks absolutely fabulous! First place must have been one sweet ride. What class were you in? Fine details and minor malfunctions on show day can be costly, but everyone is up against the same criteria (or is supposed to be, anyway).
Regardless, I'd be quite proud of that truck!

Re: On the Concourse

I learned from my first showing that it's not the award you get , rather the people that you meet who appreciate your effort. Rank first prize with us buddy , and we know our stuff.

That's awesome! I found out what the theme was too late and already had plans to work on a buddy's car. Super bummed I missed it!

Thx guys, it was a 100 years of chevy trucks. I lost to a beautiful 49 suburban but beat a Cameo, now that’s hard

Re: On the Concourse

I’ve never been to a show where they go into that much detail. We usually just go to local car shows or surrounding areas so we can enjoy them a little more. Plus they were never perfect from the factory but at certain shows it’s expected. Love the pickup though, it’d clean house around here, never see a 60-66 in our shows.
