disc brakes and drop spindles????
I have a 66 c10 , the PO did a disc brake conversion on it. I am wanting to install drop spindles , most of the drop spindles require converting to 71-72 disc brakes or equivalent. Am I in the clear or do I have convert ?
THANKS |

Re: disc brakes and drop spindles????
I had to buy a bracket to bolt my disc brakes up to my drop spindles. PO also did a disc brake conversion, although I replaced it all with new.
I'd get the spindles and see if they bolt up. If not you can get some different mounting brackets likely. |

Re: disc brakes and drop spindles????
First thing to do is identify what was used to do the disc brake conversion. Many of these trucks with out a drop have the 73 to 87 stuff in them. They are the easy ones to find. They also could have 1" or 1 1/4" rotors. So before you order anything post some pictures and lest make sure you are on the right path.
