Can someone look up this engine code for me it is 3970010.Thanks

wont tell you a whole lot in this case, 010 blocks are 69-79 350 engines, will be 4 bolt if is a truck one, check the stamping suffix code above the timing cover to get the code, it should begin with T if its truck one., the code will also tell you tranny that was behind it and the year or close to it,. date code is on the back where you got that 010 nuymber, but on the opposite half of the block though.
