Thumbs up Desert Rat

Micah, don't pay any attention to him. He's just a keyboard idiot. You still going to Pomona? If so, when you leaving? Charlie and I will probably leave EARLY Saturday morning. You going to be with the pulley vendor? Hey, what's wrong with firearms, anyway? If I didn't have one, my dog would be being treated for a rattlesnake bite right now. Hope whatever the doctor told you is kind of minor normal post-surgery stuff. Jeff's Burb still there?

Micah, I'll be there with Charlie. He's towing the white 65 F85 wagon we bought, and I'll be driving his 67 Chevy window van over. He'll be towing with his Suburban, the same one we towed Jeff's burb to your house. See you Saturday.

I bought the wagon from a guy moving back to Minn. (Fool). He told me it runs and drives, but needs a radiator. I bought it after I heard it run, and drove it on my trailer. I put a radiator in it this weekend. It idled for an hour and didn't overheat. I cleaned it up a little, and got the tailgate to work (but don't have the outside crank handle). It's got good tires on it, runs, drives, backs up, and stops. We just put a windshield in iit a little while ago, and will put the moldings on tommorrow. It was full of oil when I saw it, and still is, we added tanny fluid when we put in the radiator to top it off, brake flluid is up, and now it is full of anti-freeze and water. If the van breaks down, I'll take the wagon off the trailer and load up the van, and drive the rest of the way to Pomona. Just afraid towing that 67 Chevy van would be about like mounting a billboard on the trailer. The car ain't no show car, it could use paint over the chips and parking lot rash, and the seats need recovered, but it seems like a decent enough car. Oh, the aftermarket radio don't work, and someone removed the a/c compressor and bracket. What can I say, it's a driver! should be worth something. Wait till you see the 67 window van!!!!!!!!That little one owner flew thru emmissions last Saturday. Charlie put 4 new radials on it, and it will cruise at 65 all the way. See you Saturday. What time you leavin' CG?

Still goin', just don't know when we're leaving now. Had planned to drive at night because the van (and the wagon) don't have air, but Charlie sold the van last night, so we'll both be in the Burb with the A/C crankin'. 106 ain't that hot! See you tomorrow.
