Spacer or sleeve for motor mounts?
I have a 68 gmc that I will be installing a 350/350 setup in the next few days. I have the engine motor mounts and the frame mounts. Is there a spacer or sleeve for the bolt required? If so does anyone a p/n for gm or napa? Otherwise I guess I'll just use a 3/8x16x2" grade 8 bolt with a large flat and lock washers...
Thanks! |

Ifyou are referring to the single bolt that goes through the frame into the motor mount then there is no sleeve. The stock bolt is a 7/16-14x1 1/4" long
with a thick large washer and a lock washer. Jim |

thanks for the info... That's what I was hoping to know. The reason I asked is I thought I seen a diagram in some catalog for these year trucks and it appeared as though there was some type of sleeve for the bolt... Guess it was the beer...
thanks again! |
