Sorry I didn't see the pm. I don't have a computer at home, only my phone. Boxes showed up, I bought packing tape today and will have them boxed up today as well. I will get them sent off one day next week. I will send you tracking info ASAP. Thank you for your patience.

Re: 16x8 6 lug wheels

Keith I just pm'd you. I tried to respond over the weekend on my phone, but for some reason it did not post. The wheels have not shipped yet. I was going to have my buddy drop them off for me today, but he got called into work. I pm'd you my number. Give me a call this evening if you want me to hold off on shipping them

The guy interested in them changed his mind, so there is no reason to wait on shipping. Go ahead and ship.

thanks,

Keith

Brian,

I left you a PM, I sent you an email, and I have posted twice to your ad. I have been waiting several days. You need to contact me.

That makes me feel a lot better that I missed out on them. I was wondering if that was the case. Brian can be hard to get a hold of. He always made good on the dealings I have had with him.
Good luck, Paul

Can you confirm that they will clear a disc brake caliper?
Well, if they really were 16" wheels like the ad says, then the 3 nubs would clear the disk brake calipers, but they are not. They are 15's, so no. 15" 3 nubs will not clear.

Re: 16x8 6 lug wheels

I'd love to see a picture with a tape measure across the face showing the overall diameter but if the valley of the outer hoop is that narrow to fit the early 63-70 15" center core then good chance they won't clear a factory caliper.

Well, they will be going back. They are 15's not 16's. Pics to follow.

Re: 16x8 6 lug wheels

In case anybody didn't already know, Wheels Vintiques sells the 16x6, 16x8, and 16x10 stock style truck rims for 6 and 8 lug applications. I got a set of 16x8 8-luggers for like $120 a piece with free shipping through Summit Racing. My stock 3/4 ton caps snapped right on.

I'm not so sure about 6 luggers with nubs for the factory 10.125" dog dish hubcaps. Honestly, I researched this for almost a year and didn't find any aftermarket and I just checked Wheel Vintiques catalogue again now. I have found a very few who have had custom made using factory 16x5 cores. I ended up doing that myself.

Yes this is unfortunate. Sometimes rim diameter measuring can be misleading. You're measuring to where the tire bead sits not the outer rim lip, however, the pictures looked all wrong. The proportions on the face were off. These cores or dimension across the valley almost look too small to fit a factory caliper even but without measuring can't be certain.
I was politely trying to say the likely hood of these being 16x8 was very slim in post #18 on the first page.
