Rare color? 556 Dark olive/med olive

How rare is 556 dark olive/medium olive D89 paint stripe. Dark is on top of cab and med is on the rest of the body. I like the color combo but I would rather have the teal/white combo how much value is it loosing changing color?

All of the non white two tones are quite uncommon. Fresh examples of these come up on here from time to time. My K20 is a 557 which is the opposite of yours. I can’t speak for value but if it were me I’d leave it 556, there’s just a certain cool factor that goes with the non white two tones.

For sure growing on me but I can’t even find pictures of it with drk green on top I think I will leave it though

They are referred to as “Custom Two Tone” options by GM in this era (ie any two tone that doesn’t have white). Check out this thread: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=704629
I have a 557 K20, not changing a thing

Here’s a 556 Cheyenne Super K20, if this doesn’t convince you to stay as 556, nothing will.

Post some pics of your truck as i'd like to see how that factory paint stripe looks on a 556.

Some idiot along the way painted half the truck white and half a weird green II started this page to decide if I wanted to keep the truck original color and I think I will. D89 stripe is the white stripe right under the door if im not mistaken.
