72 C10 model

So, after searching high and low, I finally got my hands on this 72 Fleetside model. My initial plan was to get a model and put it together to match my truck, just like I did many times when I was a kid. Then when I realized how few there are available to buy in this country (unless I just don't know where to look), started wondering if I should just leave it in the sealed box? They aren't cheap. What would you do?

Build it.

You wouldn’t keep your truck in a bubble. Enjoy the thing

What's funny is, I actually would keep my truck in a bubble as long as I could let her out once in a while! She is a garage queen and I am okay with that. 46 years of rain, snow and crap... she has had enough!

Re: 72 C10 model

lol.....build the model, enjoy it.
Don't turn the model into a trailer queen too....it, like your truck was made for a distinct purpose.....not for wall or shop storage, lol.

All Good

Build it! These model kits were mass produced, just like the real thing.

haha then display both of them next to each other in their wrappers.

I built that same model over 10 years ago and still have it...

If I saved the $20 model I guess I could have sold it for $80 today on Ebay.

Im glad I built it.
