motor mounts

i am going to swap in a v8 in place of the inline 6 the motor is coming out of a 86 gmc pickup i have the whole truck can i use the mounts from it or will they not work by the way it is a 2 wheel drive and it is going in to my 67 4wd thanks for all your help you guys are great

you can drop the whole k member and make it disk breaks up front. i was told it is a direct bolt in. you can use 73-88 to do this.

the truck the v8 is coming out of is a 2wd. the truck the motor is going into is 4wd. so i don't understand what you are saying about getting disks thanks for the reply

motor mounts

If I remember correctly, it should be a bolt in. I think the crossmember is the same. I'm fairly certain, but maybe others can jump in. You'll need to get the older style motor mounts instead of the 86 style to bolt to the crossmember though. The 6 cylinder ones are different. I may even have some. You can have them for free when you come down and get your other stuff (if I can find them). Brian
