Sway bar from 86
I hear the 73 to 87 sway bars fit our trucks.
Can someone confirm this as I finally found one. Local wrecker has one.

Yes, two wheel drive. Up to 91 on V series trucks and Suburbans.

I've used one from an 87 1 ton on my truck. Make sure you get the clamps as well, since the 1.25" bars take bigger bushings/clamps than the smaller sizes.

Yes they definitely fit as I've done a ouple of them. You say you have one already and it will work but the ideal one to get is a 1 1/4 inch one from a C30 or GMC 3500 1 ton truck. I'd also buy new polyurethane bushing to install as well. Here is link to a very detailed front sway bar install.

be sure to measure the thickness of yours as the bushings are different. theres 7/8, 1", 1 1/16, 1 1/8 and 1 1/4
