Bilstein shocks for a C20
After 2 1/2 years I finally got around to putting Bilsteins on the 69er to replace the worn out Rancho shocks.
The rears did not have the steel sleeves in the rubber bushings so I took the ones off the old Rancho shocks and had to use a little persuasion to get them in. They look great. The rears are listed for a Toyota, how did you know they would fit your truck?

I just put Bilstiens on my 72 C1500 last week and I like them. Funny you mentioned the steel sleeve. I removed the steel sleeves from my Monroe Gasmatics and used them on the new ones also.

Oh man I'm envious! I just bought KYB Gas Adjusts. Rock Auto had a rebate. There installed but I haven't got a chance to try them out yet. I'm in the middle of a rear end swap. Waiting on a adjustable pan hard bar from CPP.

I took old Ranchos off my K20 and installed Billsteins. I couldn't tell a difference, unfortunately, because I spent a bunch of money doing it. My suspension is really stiff, so maybe that's why.
