68 on 90 chassis
hi, there is a truck in my area with 1968 body on a 1990 pickup chassis looks like a good job. has anyone ever done this or heard of this being done. any feed back would be appreciated. would there be any trouble registering the truck. i guess i would just register the truck under its cab vin number. i can't drive it-no motor. so i have no idea how it drives. body needs paint but no rust.$2000 i guess thats a fair price.

Where are you? I haven't heard of anyone actually making that swap yet. I have a buddy who was going to try it. See if you can get some pics and post them, I am sure we would like to see how it was done.
BTW Welcome to the board from South Mississippi!

Welcome to the board. Like Krue said I'd be real interested in seeing the setup also. I have given it thought, but not enough detail yet.
