Post body bushings

i am about to replace the body bushing on my 67 3/4 4x4. i was just wondering if there is an easy way to go about it. if there is anything i should do befor i start. or maybe what order to go in.

73 blazer 6 inch all spring lift 350/350 with crappy 3.08 gears and 35 inch bfg tires

54 chevy delray .060 over 250 i-6 which was taken from my first truck(68 gmc)

Are you refering to cab mounts? ie. the large bolts that hold the cab to the frame with large rubber cushions in between.

if you're replacing cab mounts, best way is to remove both bolts on one side and jack it up, using a 2 ft. 2X4 between cab and jack to distribute the force... replace the mounts, tighten the bolts, but not all the way... then do the other side in the same manner... now you can crank all 4 down good and tight. Remember you also have some mounts under the radiator support. Good Luck.

thanks big vinnie that is what i was thinking. yes i was refering to the rubber cab mounts. i started on the pass side the back one came out easy but i twisted a 1/2 inch extension off trying to get the front one out is there something i missed or is it just rusted in that bad. i have never twisted a 1/2 extension off before. it is a craftsman so no biggie right? i think it is time for the cut off wheel.

Yeah 67c-20, they get rusted on there pretty tight, I think I had to cut one of my front ones off and the other one took me and my friend pulling on opposite sides of a tire iron to get it undone. Gosh that was a pain in the a$$. Just cut em off. You'll want new hardware anyway. Have fun.
