HELP! might have blown rear diff!

Hey you guys i think i might have blown my rear. The truck has a 3.08 posi, and it makes a loud clunk and skips when the truck is turning. It is fine in a straight line, but when you turn, the inside rear wheel stops for a second, and makes a jamming sound. please help me figure out if this is a blown rear, or maybe a smaller problem.
Thanks a million folks
PS - i may have been doing a burnout when it started happening... but you didnt hear that from me

Sounds to me like you killed the spider gears. Open it up and see what's going on in there.

Right after i rebuilt my 12 bolt, it started howling on the highway and doing weird crap when I turned. I thought i had the backlash and stuff set wrong, so i took it to a shop so professionals could tell me what i screwed up. They rebuilt the rear 9 times and could never get it right. They ended up replacing everything. Works great now. Everything means everthing. The only thing that was mine that i got back was all the brake crap. The original rear is now in their dumpster.

All new bearings, seals, gears, eaton posi, and one of the shop's housings with good axles for 1200.

Sounds like a Gov-loc

This is what happens to a Gov-loc when the clutches will no longer slip. Sound like someone beating on the axle with a ball-pen hammer.
Replace the differential, Ring & Pinion may still be OK.
