HOws it going guys? Cant seem to get the Search to work for me. I was wondering if there are any tricks/techniques(sp?) you guys you when its that time of the year to GO TOPLESS And pull that heavy as heck top! I dont plan on using pullys and the like...winches ropes etc....i dont have the time, MONEY, or effort. However i have a bunch of buddies...willing to help. HEy, i'm they're only ride to the beach in a trick ride they've got. I'v taken it off before with 1 other friend, he nearly busted his ass/fingers! (and he's bigger then me heh heh...). Should i hop in...lift...have friends on each side...then walk back err...just right back or? what? i'm sure there are some threads on this board i can't find. Thanks for the help....off to Frisco for the night...peace.

You can unbolt the top then slide two eight foot 2x4's across the bed between the truck and the top. Mark and drill the 2x4's to match top's bolt holes. Bolt the 2x4's to the top, this will hold the top from spreading and give four people a good place to lift. I do this by myself but I use camper jacks instead of four people.
