Please help me identify these mirrors?
I bought my truck few months back, and never bothered to ask the guy i bought it from where he got these mirrors from, I thought they were standard. But after looking at countless pics of current restored trucks and past trucks I do not see them anywhere, please help me I just kind curious where they came from

Re: Please help me identify these mirrors?
They're inexpensive aftermarket mirrors once sold in every auto parts store and K Mart.

Thank you, I was kind of leaning towards the aftermarket as well just wasn't sure about it

Re: Please help me identify these mirrors?
I've heard them called ''Ford mirrors'' but I'm not well versed in that firm's equipment, so I would concur on calling them aftermarket generic.

Below is a picture of a Ford mirror on a '88 or '89 Bronco. The mounting brackets appear to be slightly different from your mirrors. It looks like there are other subtle differences as well.

Re: Please help me identify these mirrors?
That style mirror was optional at least as far back as the 73-79 f-series. I've never seen an original set on a 67-72 f-series, but wouldn't swear they weren't available.
Hope it helps. |

Re: Please help me identify these mirrors?
I think the OP's mirrors are the Ford style but not as actual Ford mirrors because of the mounts. If they are Ford mirrors they'll have a logo stamped on them somewhere.

Re: Please help me identify these mirrors?
Mine are aftermarket mirrors as there are no ford logos anywhere in site, but after looking at the pics of my truck before restoration(since I have them) it had these mirrors as well, I am guessing first owner put them on, I am just the third owner of this truck
