1970 c20 power steering gear box
My power steering pump has leaked since I got the truck in 2011. Not a huge leak, but it’s still a leak. I thought about rebuilding the box, but find it’s pretty loose also.
I’m looking at options of a rebuilt box. Looking at rock auto, even with shipping to Canada it’s cheaper than buying one from a local parts store. Are there any “brands” I should be looking for? Rebuilding mine isn’t out of the question, but being that the steering is kinda sloppy, it’s not just a seal replacement.

Re: 1970 c20 power steering gear box
I bought a rebuilt ACDelco (not from Rock Auto) for my '69 C-20 and am more than satisfied. It turned out to be the faster ratio version and is as tight as it should be. The specs for the Rock Auto ACDelco indicate that it's 3 turns lock to lock which would be the faster ratio version.
