In bed toolbox
Have a 1969 GMC LWB and wanting to put a toolbox in my bed for some more storage. Would like to see some pictures of toolboxes or ammo boxes looking for ideas.

Re: In bed toolbox
I have a Weather Guard 674-0-01. It is bolted to the bed floor and the top of it when closed is even with the top of the bedside. So, it does not stick up above the bed. Mine is the one that is only 47" wide so I think it was intended for a stepside bed. I have it in my 69 long bed fleetside truck. They make the same model in a 62" wide model which may be more appropriate for a fleetside, but I got an especially good deal from my brother on this used one. Now that I've had it for a while, I'm glad I have the 47" one because I have room for long boards or other stuff up near the cab on the passenger side.

Here’s a thread I started a few years back when I got one. And here’s a pic of the truck today. The old gull wing boxes look right at home in these trucks.
