Happy 50th to our 1 family owned 69 GMC!
I was able to get this truck in December 96 from the farm in Badger, Iowa.
The truck had been at the farm since new and I was able to drive it every summer as we visited relatives in Iowa. It was always a treat to get to the farm and ride or drive something fossil fueled! I restored this truck prior to knowing about this site. I received the truck with 25k miles original down to the plug wires battery cables etc. It has 33k today. Anyway, Dave PL posted his 69 Pontiacs 50th B-day online and I thought mine should be just around the corner. As I checked one of the build sheets, November 5th, 1968 this truck was born and is still in our family 50 years later. I have two daughters and this one seems to be laying claim to the truck for future ownership. The motor pictures are pretty dusty from the truck sitting over 6 years. It never had a build thread, but here it is! |

Beautiful Truck, love the color. I bought a new 1969 truck in the fall of 1968, traded it a few years later. Three years ago decided I wanted another and ended up with this one. It's currently torn apart and being painted.

Happy Birthday to the truck, I missed the thread. I've seen the truck in person and it's a beautiful truck in a great color!
