C notch question

How low can you go on a bolt in/weld in c notch? I want to go at least 7 or 8 in the rear

Re: C notch question

My 68 C10 had a 7" lowering in the rear and I used the CPP bolt in C notch kit. At ride height I had 2 3/4" clearance from the bump stop to the top of the axle housing. Never had a bottoming out problem.

Re: C notch question

I did the DJM flip on the back of my 69 short step and it lowered it 7 1/4". I used the small urethane pucks that came with the kit for bumpstops. I have no notch. It hits the stop on occassion, but not enough for me to justify cutting the frame up.
