LED 4-Post Lift Lights

Picked this up at SEMA this year. Works a lot better than expected.

Re: LED 4-Post Lift Lights

Good idea. Is it flexible? Something like that would be handy many places working on a vehicle.

Re: LED 4-Post Lift Lights

Yes, it's 3/4 circle poly vinyl tube of LED lights that has a series of magnets on the back so it sits at a 45 degree angle in the corner of the runner, so it shines the light up and toward the center. It comes coiled in a box, so it's very flexible.

Re: LED 4-Post Lift Lights

I think they were marketed as LiftLyte. They are 14-feet long on each side with magnet attachments, so they can be moved around a bit. Not sure what the retail is, but as a reseller, my WD price was $225 at the SEMA show. There were other versions on display.

Re: LED 4-Post Lift Lights

Thanks vin63. I was looking at various flexible led lights on Amazon to see if I could put something similar together. A 3’ section would be handy for under dash work if it was bright enough. What I couldn’t tell was how bright they were so need to do some trial and error.

Re: LED 4-Post Lift Lights

That's a good idea as I use a portable, battery-powered LED drop/work light for tight spaces and it is really bright without draining the batteries so quickly. I'll take a lit and unlit pic, so you can see the how bright it is under the chassis later today.
