Question 69 70 parking lenses in a 67 68 grill

Has anyone done the swap? I know the holes will be a different location, but as far as filling out the bottom insert a bit better...anyone have photos?

I had a buddy tell me he did his and it fills it out some.... I'm not saying I don't like the original (because I do...) I'm just asking to see what it looks like... people customize things and some like it, some dont..just asking

the lower shelve has a fitted pocket for the light bucket to sit in and mount , Not sure how the 69 would fit .

Here is 3 pictures of the lenses together.
First I want to say (Hey it's your truck do want you like).
The only noticeable change in this swap would be the appearance
of the light cover. They are about the same size within 0.020 of an inch or so.
It can be done if you like the looks of the 69/70 light better
It is just a matter of some modification.

The dimples the 69-70s have, does that make the bulbs seem brighter? Totally different design...

They would spread the light rays out wider and softer.
The concentric rings on the 67-68 lens [known as a Fresnel lens] concentrate the rays forward.
