Re: 15" disc brake rim offset
Using spacers to clear the calipers is not a good idea.
I installed the CPP disc 6-lug brake kit and went with 16" X7 " Wheel Vintiques Smoothies. I sprayed them with SPI epoxy primer followed by acrylic urethane from Summit: |

Re: 15" disc brake rim offset
Are you sure the disc conversion will not fit a 15" ? I've worked on a disc converted truck that has a later model 1970 15" ralley wheel on it. The later 15" wheels are designed for disc brakes, not sure if the original 15" AD wheel profile is different? Wondering if the 15" Wheel Vintiques version is designed with the modern clearanced rim??

I went with 16s to get a much better selection of tire brands and sizes. Not many choices in 15" anymore. Plus, I knew 16" would clear the brakes for sure. |

Re: 15" disc brake rim offset
I cant go with the 16s as I have newer 15 coker whitewall tires that are expensive. Its a funny thing because when I did a front disc conversion on my 68 Pontiac I had to change from 14" to 15" in order to fit the conversion which were Camaro brakes. Also my wheels that are on this truck don't seem to be the originals. Maybe I should wait until until I get the order and do the disc brake mounting first to see if they would fit. If anyone has ordered the 15" rims for a disc brake conversion please let me know the size. I'm going to call Wheel Vintique in a little while.

Re: 15" disc brake rim offset
I am running 15" with the conversion but not the stock rims. Aftermarket rims are required. Not sure of my offset but I know 15'' will work.

Re: 15" disc brake rim offset
Does anyone know if the rims above would work with the disc brakes?

Re: 15" disc brake rim offset
I just went though a million receipts from prior owner. I found an invoice from Jim Carter truck parts. The model number of the rims were mst150 Here is a link. The link states they will fit drum and disc brakes. Hope they fit mine.
