Re: Mieser's 71 Short Wide Project

Mounted my booster and master cylinder tonight. I mounted the booster flush to the firewall rather than using the brackets that bolt it to the firewall. Much cleaner look in my opinion. Next step is to install the booster rod to the pedal, finish up plumbing the brakes and install my Wilwood adjustable proportioning valve.

Re: Mieser's 71 Short Wide Project

I can't believe it's been 3 years since I last posted any updates on the truck. As it has a tendency to do, life has gotten in the way and not much progress has happened on the truck......just a few little things here and there. However, I have been working pretty hard on the truck for the past couple of months. Frame and chassis have all been painted and I now have a rolling chassis that is 99% complete. I still have to clean and paint my tie rod pieces and steering box and install them. Then it will be time to get the motor painted, purchase a 700R4 tranny and get them installed on the chassis. Getting things sprayed with color and put together finally makes it seem like some progress is happening.

Looks great. What color is the frame?
Looks to have a hint of green to it.

The color is a Honda color called Galapagos Green. Saw it on the truck below and fell in love with the color.
