Yes it does fit a 6.0 without issue, It has significant ground clearance. i decided against it as my custom mounting position is very low. It wouldn't go bellow the front crossmember thats for sure. It all depends on the height of the engine mounts.

i may have misspoke, the pan is shallower in the sump area by a few inches so it wont hang bellow the front crossmember. I however have my engine mounted in such a way that the front portion of the deep pan is too close to the front crossmember itself. I still have the truck pan but likely go with an aftermarket pan. I think if i were to use adjustable mounts or mounted the engine higher it wouldn't have been an issue.
