Mystery Horn button...??????
What kind of horn button is this? I have never seen another like it. It appears to be a 67 68 GMC but the logo is strange and it has a horn picture on it. The seller told me it is for 68-70...? Aftermarket perhaps?

For a big truck used well into the 80s I believe.

Re: Mystery Horn button...??????
I told the seller that I thought that it was for a big truck. Will that fit on my 68 steering wheel?

Re: Mystery Horn button...??????
Thanks for the reply. If this sale goes through, I want this on my 67 GMC with an original 68 steering wheel. It looks neat!

Re: Mystery Horn button...??????
Yes, the post '68 big truck steering wheels are the same except slightly bigger diameter (yet smaller than 69-72). People got dumber so they needed to start putting a picture to find the horn on the steering wheel where they have always been and still are*
* Except air horn pull chains

Re: Mystery Horn button...??????
Well, the sale of this fell through on Ebay because the seller could not find the horn button after I bought it. So one PayPal refund, and a phone call later, I found a NOS one at a Chevrolet dealership in Kansas and bought that today. Next up is to get the remainder of the steering wheel horn-related parts that I am missing...

Re: Mystery Horn button...??????
My company had a 1987 GMC C-6500 that I drove a lot, and it had that horn button.

I actually like the larger lettering on this, I think it will look great in my 67. I have had such a good luck finding New Old Stock Parts at dealerships that I'm considering looking for the actual GMC horn button that is correct just as a backup. I actually found a New Old Stock set of black armrests at a dealership a few weeks back but did not buy them. They would not come down on the price enough. I can usually talk dealerships down on their prices due to these parts collecting dust on their shelves for decades. That horn button had been sitting on their shelf since 1992.
