New to me 1962 GMC Pickup
Been awhile since I posted here. Just picked up a 1962 GMC C10 Custom. Has the 305 V6 and 4 speed manual trans. Hasn’t been on the road since 86. Stored in a barn. Motor isn’t seized which is nice. Looking forward to getting it running again.

Looks pretty original.
Like the Chrome package. Would be a great restoration project. Keep us posted on it.

That's a nice and clean GMC. What are your plans other than getting it running?

Very nice find! Little tuning on the v6 and some good oil and she'll run like a champ.

Re: New to me 1962 GMC Pickup
Captainfab, my plan is to get it running, lower it slightly front and rear, and use it as a daily driver. I live 3.5 miles from work. Easy short trips. Along with the truck, I bought a set of 20 inch American racing black rally style wheels The previous owner had already bought for it.
After that the plan is to finish up the areas someone prior to me started body work and paint the truck all one color. Also needs bed wood. |
