Question on lowering
I have a question regarding lowering springs, I bought the lowering kit from cpp 2 up front and 5 in the back. But for a 5 inch drop it still looked too high. So I recently c notched it and put 2 inch lowering blocks so it total it should be a 7 inch in the back. The prime red picture is just on 5 inch spring and when it’s painted it’s with the c notch and 2 inch blocks. I want to know why you guys think? I know CPP has a tendency to misbox items cause it’s happened to me multiple times

Re: Question on lowering
Here's a couple of pics of my 68 with 7" lowering in the rear, 5" springs and 2" lowering blocks from CPP for comparison. 15" ralleys and 275/60 tires. Also the front is lowered 5 1/2", dropped spindle and 3"drop spring. Personally I think you should drop the front some more for a better look.

Re: Question on lowering
I didn't realize you had no engine in there yet. That's why it is sitting higher. Sorry bout that.

Re: Question on lowering
You're on the right track. Get the weight back in it and add the 3 in. springs up front. Mine is a 5.5 and 7 drop. Build On.

Re: Question on lowering
3/4" drop
3" front springs with 3" rear springs and a 1" block. Rides nice.

Re: Question on lowering
I wouldn't mess with anything else until you get the drivetrain in. Until then, you're just guessing.
