Stepside bed rear wiring routing?

(sorry, no pictures yet). On a '70 LWB stepside, how are the wires routed from the brake lights and back-up lights to the 4-pin frame connector? On both sides, there is a 2-pin connector to disconnect the brake lights, and a single pin connector to disconnect the back-up lights. The design of the 2-pin connectors make it look like they should snap into something, much like the 4-pin connector snaps into the frame.

I bought the truck as a partial restoration, and the harness was present, but not installed. This isn't a case of I took it apart and I forget how it goes back together (Thank Dog for cellphones!)

Any pictures or good descriptions of how I should route and dress the wiring on her backend?

Thanks,
--jc

They split from the four pin main to separate two pin for both sides, driver and passenger taillight. If your harness is complete, they'll be a long and short two pin harness

Re: Stepside bed rear wiring routing?

Thanks! Yah, my harness is complete, the question was more about the actual routing and dressing of the wires. It appears from your picture that there should be some clips that retain the wires, and I may have those in the various bags of parts that came with it.

I really need to find someone not too far from me with a more or less original stepside that I can see how a couple things ought to be done. I have the shop manuals, but they gloss over a lot of the details. No doubt they assume that anyone the manuals are really written for had some factory training.
