Hey Steve, if you can't source a nos bezel I could restore an oem one. Here is a link to the thread to look at the work. Thanks, Curt

Thanks Curt
I'll keep that in mind.
Looks like you do great work, but I'm thinking I want the chrome edge and gauge surround, Im also not sure if the chrome edge was original to a 1968, but I like the look of it.
What do you charge If I send in my own original bezel?

Re: Wanted NOS 1967-68 gauge bezel

Hey Steve, so from what I have found in 68 gm made (3) different chevy bezels. There was a silver painted with black, chrome edge with black and a chrome edge with black choke delete (raised "choke" letters aren't there, these got the fancy gm choke delete emblem). I'm not educated enough to say the rhyme or reason of the different bezel but from experiences the chrome edge bezel was in a lot of the cst's and customs that I've seen. If you want the chrome edge bezel and want to use the original bezel you can send it to a place called Instrument specialties to get it replated then repainted. Fair warning it is very expensive $400-$475. I could cut some cost off if you sent me your bezel but would need to see pictures of it before I committed to a price. I'll send a pm with my contact info. Thanks, Curt

WOW
$400 to $475 that is up there, but good to know that the option is available.
I guess if everything comes out right it would be better than a 50 year old NOS relic.
