Anyone See OverHaulin' ???

Hey, did anyone catch TLC's OverHaulin' last weekend. Now, it may have been a rerun, but it's the first time I've lucked out and seen an episode from start to finish.

The project vehicle was an '88 Chevy 1500, two-tone brown. The end product was a beautiful (in my opinion) "muscled up" machine, with raised suspension, racing seats, roll bar with lights, and a fantastic black paint job with extremely realistic looking flames. Now, I've never been a huge fan of fake flames, but this air brush dude is apparently known as one of the best flame painters in the business - and it showed.

I've always told people I don't know if I'd appreciate someone "stealing" my truck to make it over, but looking at this end product, I might be OK with it.

You can check out the photos at...

Yeah, I love watching that show. Foose is just the man. I love the camaro they did for Ian from of Beverly Hills 90210. Now that was gorgeous.

Check it out here. http://www.superchevy-web.com/features/0407sc_tv/

WOW - That's awesome. Another incredible flame painting job.

I have only had the oportunity to see snips of the show now and then. That's why seeing the chevy truck was a real treat.

Weird, eh? Almost like a parrallel universe type of thing.

Actually, one of the reasons I have not seen a whole lot is that TLC is not part of our basic cable package. We used to pay for additional channels, but decided to cut back and save a few bucks. Well, this winter the cable company did some switching over which made alot more channels available "temporarily" at no charge - TLC being one of them. So far this "temporary" situation has lasted about 3 months.

Unfortunately, we're starting to get used to it.

I have only seen it once. I sawthe Ford Explorer one on the other day.
I thought the way the people acted made the show too cheezy.

I think my favorite is the 56 chevy 4 door hard top that was converted into a 2 door roadster. That thing turned out awesome. Another good show is the one right after it on Tuesday nights, Rides.

I can't stand that Prestly (sp) guy. He narrates it like he is talking to a kid. I watch it in mute.

Yeah, Presley is annoying and has a raspy voice that just irritates me when talking to long periods. But it is a good show, when it comes to showing good stuff. I've only seen acouple of the shows and so far, i like it.

Rides, i do like, i just wish they would make a convert or hardtop and stop with the roadsters, imo. Also, the explorer was nice, but i could have done without the lift, i think a girl into hip hop and stereos and other things, would want it lowered, if not on the ground. But that is imo.
