I bought a Humvee through Govplanet a few years back. If you are thinking about going that route pick a few cities that auction them off and watch the results for a few months. The purchase process was easy but lengthy, the vehicle was accurately described and I had no problems with it. With that being said I count myself lucky because I have heard horror stories. Drove it for a couple years and sold it last summer. Made maybe $500 on the deal which was a new experience since I always seem to be losing money.

You will get tired of having a top speed of 55mph.
