engine build temps
i wanted to know does it give a matter what the temp in the area and engine is during rebuild? i have a unheated garge and a torpedo heater the heats next to nothing. i wanna start my build but dont wanna get incorrect torque readings due to low temps in the 30's day and night.

Re: engine build temps
Here is a good explanation of temps on torque - https://cr4.globalspec.com/comment/5...nt-temperature

Re: engine build temps
I would be more worried about proper clearance readings / measurements.
Most precision tools are calibrated at / for a specific temperature. Also to include the part being measured. |
