question about 1 piece glass mod.

Question for those who have used the 1 piece window conversion----

I have the 1 pc. glass mod. and I bent one of my weatherstrip pieces on the door glass, I am going to have to replace it, but it appears that the previous owner used the standard weatherstrips (looks that way because it has an offset in it where the old vent window was, it looks like a small offset in the stainless strip and rubber).
My question is, does your 1 piece window kit use a straight weatherstrip (anti-rattle) or the stock one with a small offset?

it is a silly question but I just need to know what to order?

The original scraper pieces would be too short.

Do you have the kit with the small triangle piece of aluminum to be attached to the front of the door? If so, contact Brothers Trucks to see if you can buy replacement set of scrapers.

If your window goes all the way to the front of the door, contact One Piece Products for a replacement.

Thanks, you are right i was not thinking correctly, with the vent window the strips wouldnt be offset they would be 5 or 6" short.

i found out i have the brothers kit and ordered the window felts today thanks, this can be closed.

Who makes the best kit for this?

The brothers kit is good but do a google search for 1 piece glass for a 67-72 chevy truck and i cant remember the other co. But i dont like the small triangle of metal used with the brothers kit. The other brand i think uses a wider glass and does not have the metal triangle. You might also have to search for vent window elimination kit?
