Gas tank conversion

OK guys obviously I want to move my gas tank out of the cab and obviously I’m gonna put it between the Frame rails but I had an idea of putting the filler neck behind my license plate kind a like those old-school novas has anybody here ever tried to do that and to what degree and if anybody has any tips or tricks .

If i had to do mine again I would have ordered my boyd tank with the side fill option and ran it up to my left stake bed pocket and installed a new style capless end on it.

If by chance you are a little older,lol,crouching down to fill those chevys, they were a pain in the knees,really think about putting in the bed or like p0508 said, in top of the pocket,your knees will appreciate it.
