Brand new 1972 Blue Highlander seat cover

Like the title says, this is a brand-new seat cover for a blue plaid Highlander. I bought this about a year and a half ago from boardmember "truckseats" for the eventual factory style restoration of my 72. I recently sold the truck, and the new owner is going a different direction. This is a top-quality truck seat cover with the embossed vinyl and plaid inserts. These are not cheap, and there is often a waiting period while the cover is made. This one has never even been out of the bag and has been stored in an air conditioned environment. I am asking $500 shipped. My loss can be your gain. I will be happy to answer questions or take other pictures. Please keep responses in the thread. First I'll take it gets the seat cover.

Thanks,
Mike

THAT is a great deal for whoever needs it. I paid over $700 to get an early one manufactured with the correct scrollwork, as this one has also. Good luck on the sale.

I wasn't sure if I should put the original price in the ad or not. I didn't pay quite that much but it was close. Thanks for the nice words, Jocko. I enjoy all your Highlander posts. This is the SPID of the truck I just sold. I bought it out of New Mexico with Tyler's (57 task force) help.

Yes, it had better options than any of the three Cheyennes I've had. I like to look too much, and I end up finding something else I want. This is my current 71 Cheyenne:

Re: Brand new 1972 Blue Highlander seat cover

Do you know if the seat cover covers the whole back of the seat, or is it open like a typical truck seat cover? Just checking for us suburban guys that need the back of the seat covered.

Thanks

I opened the package and looked. The seat does not have a back cover. The front cover wraps about 6 inches around the back of the seat. Thank you

Sorry off topic a little. Where did get a place to do the scroll work for a seat cover? I am having a horrible time finding the orange plaid with scroll work for 72. Thanks!

Re: Brand new 1972 Blue Highlander seat cover

Do a board search for member truckseats. He has a supplier that has the correct embossed vinyl scrollwork and the correct plaid. He makes top quality seat covers.

Here is a link to his member page:

If anything falls through on this payment, I'd like to be next in line.

All Good
