Dash repair
This is a good reason to pull the windshield before even a quick respray on your truck , This dash looked ok until the glass came out . Also I'll post pictures of repairing the cut out radio repair . Don't cut the dash !

Re: Dash repair
Mine leaks a bit when it rains. I'm saving up for pulling the glass. Thanks to your information, I already know what may lay underneath.
Thanks to everyone who shares hidden pitfalls on our trucks.

Re: Dash repair
It's all repairable , Just keep in mind it's only metal . It's not a truck until you drive it down the road .

Re: Dash repair
I have always wondered why nobody has ever done a dash like this and made these the AC vent holes. Not all of them but like 2 on drivers side, 2 in the middle and 2 on passenger side. Then fill and smooth the rest of the dash. This would have the AC cool air blowing up higher on you as you drive which is where I want it.
I think it would be a cool mod!

Re: Dash repair
Got it solid again and epoxy primed . Just a little more work adding A/C vents and this one will be ready to go back in . When replacing the skin drill out the spot welds on the bottom of the repair panel and your dash and keep the structural frame dash support intact .using a factory dash repair panel is way easier than using the panels sold online to repair cut out radio hole . . I'll post a few more pics later today.
