Front End Swap_04 back to 99-02

I recently picked up an 04 Crew Cab 1500 4x4. I never really liked the "cat eye" front ends and the fenders are junk anyway. The best solution for me is to swap back to the 99-02 style front end. My local yard has a truck that is in really good shape with the front end I want.

My b-e-a-utiful new truck.

Front clip donor.

Is the bed on the blue truck good enough to be a donor?

And please let us know if and how your repairs were successful.

Nah... I have a buddy that lives south of the rust belt. I am going to have him look for a suitable replacement. Decent southern beds around here cost $1500 so that isn't really an option. That, or I will buy new bed sides for less that $400 a piece.

Re: Front End Swap_04 back to 99-02

Getting South of the Mason-Dixon line is not a super long drive from North central PA.
Maybe you can import an extra and sell it for just under what the other guys are getting to finance your project.
