Re: 1955 chevrolet truck bed sill to frame bolt torque
Didnt know they had a torque for that...I'd just tighten em up till I felt good about it..do you have rubber cushions between bed and frame? Or are you steel on steel? Do you have wood floor?if bolts go thru wood you dont want to overtighten.....if your really curious about torque , just Google torque values for the size bolts your using ...its kinda a standard torque table..https://www.boltdepot.com/fastener-i...ed-Torque.aspx

Re: 1955 chevrolet truck bed sill to frame bolt torque
I remember reading something about a torque like 20 or 25 ft. lbs. as theses go through the offset washers then the sill plates then the metal pad then the rubber then the frame. however there was a note not to overtighten them, but the English Bulldog puppy destroyed all the paper stuff on my computer desk because I didn't let her help in the garage...

Personally I'd just use nylon lock nuts and give em a good snug tightening...with wood and rubber you cant tighten em a lot before you start crushing things...
