What do do?

Well My 75 Jimmy is just sitting. I bought this truck for $1. Put a year of my life in it bring it back from the grave. Built it into a real basher of a wheeler. Just not had time in 1.5 years to enjoy it wheeling. So it sits. I drive it some on the weekends.

I have another project vehicle I want to start and the last thing I need is 5 vehicles for 2 drivers.

Another problem is all the wheeling is over 2 hours away. This creates a few issues.

1 9mpg sucks
2 If I break it how do I get it home.
3 No A/C sucks in GA in the summer
4 doesn't fit in a lot of places because it is so wide. This is why it looks like it has been through the thrasher.
5 lost interest as a result.

So to try to cut the fleet down I need to get rid of it because it's the least practical and least used. I am looking at building a 4 runner that can run as a DD and get 20mpg and wheel. I actually have a 84 in my drive that I bought for $300 but striping what I want (axles) off it and buying a second IFS FI 4Runner and SAS with the other axle. It's a better starting point where I want to go with it. It's light enough that I can throw it on a trailer so If I do break it bad enough that I cant drive it I can still get it home. Then I will be getting 9mpg in the burb...with the A/C on, CD playing family happy.

I just cant seem to get the 75 sold as a whole. This truck is built with the best parts. Detroit, Disc, the works. If you want to go wheeling it's a bargain and it's a tru turn keey wheeler. Just ad some tow straps and you and it's ready to go. It has an easy $12k in it and I'm asking $4k. I need that moeny to get the 4Runner going.

So I'm down to making the decision to part it or do something different. I thought about making it a Pre runner. Get the weight way down and then I could use it to tow the Runner with and with OD I might get close to 20mpg. Lot of work to do it and if I did that I might be better starting with something else. I also don't have time.

I feel like I am cutting up my friend if I part this thing.
