C50 dimensions
What are the dimensions of a C50? How much bigger are they from c10s? Looking at 67-72 specifically. Thanks in advance.

Re: C50 dimensions
What dimensions are you looking for in particular? Everything varies or are the same.
Wheelbases range from short to looooong and anywhere inbetween. 2 chassis I have though are 127" wheelbase, same as longbed C20, but one has 2 feet of extra frame out back and another has 6' of frame out back. Run a flat or dump bed, wheelbase and frame length could stick way out there. Frames are heavier but widths are similar since the cabs mount to the same widths. Cabs are the same except for the firewall and toe boards up front that account for the inner wheel wells. Doors are the same except with the front most cut out for the inner wheel wells. Windshield and side windows are the same as a truck. Small back windows similar to 67's I believe. Etc Etc. What are you looking for to compare?

Re: C50 dimensions
Width. I bought a C50 and need to tow it on a trailer. I didn’t have a tape with me when I bought it. It has the smaller fenders. Just want to make sure I bring enough trailer with me..

Re: C50 dimensions
Ooof yea hopefully you have a full flat bed (no fender wells, or at least very low fender wells).
My 1 chassis I have here (No body but add 1.5" to each side I'd say and only single wheels installed on the rear dually axle) Front wheel width at the tires: 78" Front wheel width at the lugs: 84" Rear wheel width at the tires: ~88" (maybe someone else can confirm this) Like I said my rear axle only has 2 wheels on it which helped to narrow it greatly and helped with loading on my regular car hauler trailer. My other truck I had to hire out to a guy with a winch and a hydraulic flat bed. The width wasn't the biggest concern there, it was more of the weight.

Re: C50 dimensions
I only measured rear tire width but got 88" outside as well.
The other measurements sound right.

Re: C50 dimensions
Any idea how much one weighs? It’s a flat bed non dump, 14 to 16 foot wheelbase I’m guessing..

Re: C50 dimensions
Around 8000lbs, more if it's a steel bed.

Re: C50 dimensions
Mine was ~9500 lbs when I rolled it over the scales leaving the dump last year if I remember correctly. I have a 179" wheelbase and a dump bed with all the associated hydraulics.
