FL Wanted: One 4x4 hubcap

I have a Dana 60 front dif. I think there is a guy on here that can open up a closed unit so I could go either way. I may have a line on some wheels to match them. So 3/4 or one ton should fit.

dana 60 specific hub cap is unique to its self in the hole opening and shape of it .

Will that front fit a D60? What would you want for them? I can't find the fella that can open these up to fit a D60. Anyone know the name?

Seems as if everyone is watching for the Dana 60 front caps. I can't even find them on eBay. 3/4 ton may be the way to go.

Yep. I've got over a dozen very nice 3/4 ton caps, some open, some closed. Contemplating making a set of dimple dies. Seems there's enough demand besides my own to do it.

You can open them up, but they are still missing the pressed in center that make the d60 caps hard to find.

I don't get what you mean. You talking about the "lip" that protrudes outward? If so, I would only open up classes caps. The open ones may not have enough meat on them.

Yes, that outward piece is a second pressed in piece. The k30 caps are actually a 2 piece hubcap.

I didn't know that. I've never actually seen a true K30 cap. That might be a good thing.

I actually have one front dana 60 cap I could sell. It is missing the cone shaped shaped piece

I have found five caps total. I am not worried about the originality of the fronts as these are not even the right year for my truck. I just think it will give it a more stout stock look with some wide 16" wheels. So I just need to find a way to open up the 3/4 ton units. I thank all of you for your info and I might have been successful in piecing a set together had they not been so elusive. I am interested now in the Dimple die method. I would think that as rare as these are that more of us folks would also be interested.I know someone was already doing it but I have since lost the info. Maybe it is just as hard to find the D60 these fit.

I thought so just couldn't find anything on the net besides that so I figured you could not be talking about that!!! I think I know how you feel. I went to the local new "German" restaurant last night. I didn't want to. But my wife made me. I have German relatives so I can't see paying exorbitant amounts for wannabe German food I used to get better for free. Anyway all night long I had the stomach thing and I will never go back. Anyway do you still have the caps?
