700r4 swap from one '85 C10 to another: What do I need to take off of the donor?

I've acquired a rusted out 85 c10 Suburban with a 700r4 in it. I intend to swap this transmission into my TH350 equipped '85 C10 pickup. What 700r4 specific parts are needed to be removed from the Suburban to be installed on the pickup? Thanks.

You will need to have the wiring, brake light switch, and low vacuum switch from under the hood by the brake booster, in order to make the lock up torque converter work correctly. I would also invest in a new TV cable the old one is probably stretched out a bit, and a new one is fairly cheap. As for the drive shaft length, if your TH350 had a 9 inch tail shaft you should be okay it's only a 5/8 inch difference in length for the transmissions. If you have a short tail shaft on the 350 grab the drive shaft off the Suburban.

Any throttle bracket magic bits needed to hold the TV cable.
The shift indicator from the dash cluster.
Possibly the cooling lines.
Drive shaft + yoke, just in case.
Transmission support, just in case.

Thanks, I guess I'll just grab the whole carb, to be safe about the TV cable linkage. If I were to ever switch to a fuel injection system like Fitech, are there adapters out there to make the TV cable work with it?

Yes there is a bracket. I believe it's the same set up they use for the Holley carbs. Fitech's website can tell you.

Drive shaft yoke, and cooling lines are the same for both. He just needs to make sure he gets a spray can of Kooler Kleen, and flush the cooler out. The shift indicator in the dash is cheap enough to buy new from LMC or Classic. I just got one this spring for $25

I believe I've got just about everything now, even the dash indicator. I'll post a thread if the swap commences thanks for the help, everyone.
