Thanks LS1,
My mechanic friend has it currently so I will pick it up in a few days and take some pics.. I also located a highly referred steering column specialist in Anahiem named Felipe of OC Steering and he says he has all the parts I need to make this work.. My friend discovered the bearings are shot so it may need to be rebuilt a the same time.

If your lever looks like the one A1971Blazer posted in post#26 then it will work, however most of those levers are only 3 wire and need to be converted to 4 wire.

If you're restoring the whole truck then it may be worth it. In order to use them though, you need to paint the lever black so it doesn't show a difference in colors between the decal and the plastic. I use single stage enamel with gloss hardener and it's dark enough that you cannot tell that it is a sticker, but have put one on an unpainted lever and it looked terrible, way to obvious.
