cool bow tail light

I saw something cool on the way to work today. A guy had a bowtie on his tailgate. It was about 3 to 4 inches long and tall and was mounted right in the center of the tailgate. It was a turn signal. If turning left the left half would flash and if turning right the right half would flash. Anybody else see these or have I been sleeping? I don't know how it would look on all trucks but this one looked good. This would have been a good time to have a cameraphone!

Like this?

It's probably a handle filler from Sir Michaels. I don't know if this one has the signals built in but I'm sure it's possible.

I've got'em on my truck, they are from AIM.... I had to modify them to work for signals(drilled some LED's in through the back) along with the runnning lights.Check out my cardomain site for pictures

That looks like them. This guy did have it on the tailgate I guess where the handle was. I guess he just wired for the left and right side of the one unit.

Nice work on the truck.
