Yes, if your weather strip & door gap are perfect, it will not leak. BUT.........if there is a sleet/freezing..........ya need some very warm water to open that door. AND....if the door is shaved of handles & mirrors opening is hindered even more. Smoothed out a few like this & only one was a true daily and had this happen a few times.
