another gauge question

i am converting my 68 gmc dash from idiot lights to factory gauges. im not hooking up the battery gauge because i did a 5.3 swap with a stand alone harness do i still need to add the wire from the junction box with the 4 amp fuse? is this a constant 12v hot wire to the gauge cluster? thanks for any help

Re: another gauge question

No, since you won't be using the battery gauge, you do not have to hook up either of the wires with the 4 amp fuses.
